Portacode Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Portacode ("Portacode," "we," "us," or "our"). By using Portacode, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Portacode provides tools for working with code, connected devices, hosted workspaces, automation, and AI-assisted features. The service is evolving, and features may be added, changed, limited, or removed.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Portacode. You are responsible for the information you provide, activity under your account, and keeping your account and connected devices secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Your content

You keep ownership of the code, files, messages, and other content you provide. You give Portacode permission to process that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use the content you submit.

When you connect a device, repository, or third-party service, Portacode may access and process information from it as needed to perform the actions you request. You remain responsible for your devices, repositories, credentials, backups, and the consequences of commands or changes you approve.

AI features

AI-generated results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your situation. Review code, commands, and other outputs before relying on or running them. Information needed to provide AI features may be processed by third-party providers as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Do not use Portacode to break the law, infringe others' rights, distribute malware or spam, gain unauthorized access, interfere with the service, evade limits, or put people or systems at unreasonable risk. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect Portacode, its users, or others.

Availability and fees

Portacode is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that every feature will always remain available. Some features may be free, experimental, limited, or offered for a fee. Any price and payment terms shown when you purchase a paid feature will apply to that purchase; we will not charge you without your agreement.

Ending your use

You may stop using Portacode at any time and may delete available data through the service or request account deletion. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated violations of these Terms, security risks, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the service.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, Portacode is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from its use. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes

We may update these Terms as Portacode evolves. We will post the updated Terms and revise the date above. If a change is important, we will provide reasonable notice where practical. Continuing to use Portacode after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
