Connect Telegram
Portacode can reach you on Telegram through the official bot, @portacode_bot — for example to deliver device health alerts. Linking takes under a minute.
Steps
- Open @portacode_bot in Telegram and send it any message (for example
/start). - The bot replies with a secure, short-lived confirmation link.
- Open that link in a browser where you're signed in to Portacode.
- Review the confirmation screen — it shows exactly which Telegram account will be connected to which Portacode account — and click Connect these accounts.
That's it. The whole flow happens between Telegram and portacode.com; no codes to copy and nothing sent by email.
Notes
- Confirmation links expire after 30 minutes and work only once. If yours expires, message the bot again for a fresh one.
- Only open confirmation links you requested yourself, and only confirm if the Telegram account shown on the confirmation screen is yours.
