Portacode Terms of Service

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

Who we are
These Terms govern your use of Portacode, provided by Insightifyr FZ LLC ("we," "us," "our"). For more information about our company, visit insightifyr.com. Contact: support@portacode.com.
What we offer
Portacode includes: a mobile-first IDE, a device-side agent you install, and optional assistants (e.g., Telegram/email). Features are experimental and may change during this public preview period.
Account Terms
You must be 13 or older to use this service. You must provide a valid email address and any other information requested to complete the signup process. You alone are responsible for your account and anything that happens while you are signed in to or using your Account. You are responsible for keeping your Account secure.
1. Required Information:
  You must share a valid email address with Portacode in order to complete the signup process. Any other information requested, such as your real name, is optional, unless you are accepting these terms on behalf of a legal entity or if you opt for a paid account.
2. User Account Security:
  The content of your account and its security are up to you. You are responsible for keeping your account secure while you use our service.
Your content & code
You retain ownership of your code and content. You grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the service (e.g., transmitting commands, rendering files, running builds/logs). You're responsible for having rights to the content you process with Portacode.
Device-side agent
Installing the agent allows Portacode to execute commands you invoke, read files you open, and send outputs back to you. You are responsible for the security, configuration, and network access of your machines. Uninstall the agent to revoke access.
Private Repositories
You may grant Portacode access to your private repositories. We treat the content of private repositories as confidential, and we only access it for support reasons, with your consent, or for security reasons if required.
1. Access to Private Repositories:
  Portacode's employees may only access the content of your private repositories in the following situations:
  - With your consent and knowledge, for support reasons.
  - When access is required for security reasons, including when access is required to maintain ongoing confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of Portacode's systems and Service.
2. Confidentiality of Private Repositories:
  Portacode considers the contents of private repositories to be confidential to you. We will protect the contents of private repositories from unauthorized use, access, or disclosure in the same manner that we would use to protect our own confidential information of a similar nature.
Acceptable Use
Your use of the Website and Service must not violate any applicable laws, including copyright or trademark laws, export control or sanctions laws, or other laws in your jurisdiction. No illegal activity, malware, unauthorized access, infringement, spam, or attempts to disrupt the service. We may suspend accounts for violations.
AI & third-party services
Some features may call third-party AI or infrastructure providers (e.g., LLM APIs). Where enabled, prompts and outputs may be sent to such providers to deliver the feature. See the Privacy Policy for details and opt-outs where available.
Fees
Public Preview is free. Future paid plans may apply; we'll notify you and obtain consent before charging.
Intellectual Property Notice
We retain ownership of all intellectual property rights of any kind related to the Website and Service. We reserve all rights that are not expressly granted to you under this Agreement or by law. The look and feel of the Website and Service is copyright © Insightifyr FZ LLC. All rights reserved. You may not duplicate, copy, or reuse any portion of the HTML/CSS, Javascript, or visual design elements or concepts without express written permission from Portacode.
Feedback
If you submit feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use it without obligation.
Cancellation and Termination
You may stop using Portacode anytime and uninstall the agent. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or for risk/security reasons.
Communications with Portacode
We only use email and other electronic means to stay in touch with our users. We do not provide phone support.
Disclaimer of Warranties
We provide our service as is, and we make no promises or guarantees about this service. Public Preview is provided "as is" and "as available." Features may be incomplete, change rapidly, or be withdrawn. Do not rely on it for safety-critical systems.
Limitation of Liability
We will not be liable for damages or losses arising from your use or inability to use the service or otherwise arising under this agreement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenues, data, or use.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.
Governing law & dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United Arab Emirates.
Changes to our Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
